Chris Paladino of the Atlantic City Development Corp told The Press of Atlantic City that excavation work on the project's parking garage should start this week, with excavation for Stockton's $156 million Atlantic City campus set to begin the following week.

Completion of the project is being targeted for August 2018, with a goal of having classes at Stockton's new Atlantic City campus start in the fall of 2018.

The campus complex will include an academic building, housing for 500 students and a parking garage. South Jersey Gas and other businesses will also have offices on the site of the old Atlantic City High School on Albany Avenue.
