A 15-year-old from Absecon has been charged with multiple counts of burglary, auto theft, and conspiracy stemming from an investigation into two stolen vehicles in Brigantine earlier this summer.

The burglaries happened on the 700 block of Bayshore Avenue on July 6th.

Other vehicles in that area as well as on 40th Street South and in the area of Beach Cove off Lagoon Blvd. were also broken into. Additional break-ins happened the day before.

Earlier arrest

One juvenile from Pleasantville was arrested and charged with hindering apprehension and attempted burglary to a motor vehicle in connection with this spree.

Police say they have confirmed that there were other co-conspirators who participated in these burglaries and their investigation is active and continuing.
