Brigantine, NJ, Native Trevor Cohen Captures Another Award
Trevor Cohen, a Rutgers University freshman, a Brigantine native, and Holy Spirit alum, won his second career Big 10 Freshman of the Week honor for going 8-for-17 (.471) in the week, reaching base in every game he played in during the week and this season.
Cohen is hitting a Big 10 leading .500 this season in 11 games this season with 15 RBI, three doubles a triple, 15 runs scored and three stolen bases for the Scarlet Knights.
This is the second time the Brigantine-native has won the award this season, taking the award in his first week of the season.

Cohen is one of many Cape-Atlantic League alums who are having solid seasons at the collegiate level with Ocean City's Tommy Finnegan recently winning his first game at St. John's.
