Mays Landing, NJ, Man Pleads Guilty to Dealing Meth

A Mays Landing man who ran a meth lab has pleaded guilty to distribution of five ounces or more of methamphetamine and is now potentially facing 13 years in prison.

Khaadim Abdullah, 28, was one of three men arrested in August 2022 in a joint effort between the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office and various law enforcement agencies, including the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, into illegal sales of methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl.

Authorities say they set up extensive surveillance on August 18, 2022, and watched Abdullah drive down the Garden State Parkway in Little Egg Harbor and turn on a dirt road in Galloway Township. He then ran from the vehicle, throwing items into the woods.

Abdullah was ultimately taken into custody without incident.

Search warrants at two homes in Mays Landing and one in Atlantic City uncovered about 14 ounces of methamphetamine, 3,550 wax folds of heroin, drug paraphernalia, a stolen handgun, and $14,900 in cash.

Abdullah was charged with maintaining a drug production facility, distribution of five ounces or more of methamphetamine, possession of more than five ounces of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, distribution of more than one-half ounce but less than five ounces of heroin, possession of more than one-half ounce but less than five ounces of heroin with intent to distribute, as well as multiple other drug and weapons charges.

Khaadim Abdullah pled guilty to the charge of distribution of more than five ounces of meth and will be sentenced on Feb. 23, 2024. Proscecutors will seek a term of 13 years in state prison.
