A woman from Atlantic City is facing charges after allegedly assaulting a teacher inside of a school Thursday morning.

Atlantic City Police say officers responded to the main office at the Pennsylvania Avenue school around 10AM for a report of an assault. A teacher, identified only as a 55-year-old female from Absecon, was assaulted while in the office by a parent, 26-year-old Gabrielle DeWolfe. The teacher was taken to ARMC-City where she was treated and released. DeWolfe was arrested on scene and charged with aggravated assault and released on a summons with a future court date.
