Authorities in Cumberland County say two men in their 20s were killed in a crash late Tuesday morning.

The Vineland Police Department says the accident happened just after 11:00 in the area of Union and Millville-Mays Landing Roads.

Mahoney of Sewell failed to stop/yield and it crossed into its path.

John A. Mahoney and his passenger, 23-year-old Patrick J. Mahoney, also of Sewell, died as a result of the collision.

Authorities did not say if or how the two were related.

Schafer was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital in Camden for precautionary reasons and was last reported to be in stable condition.

No charges had been filed as of Tuesday afternoon.

Officer Paul Cifuentes of the Vineland Police Department's Traffic Safety Unit is the lead investigator of the case. Anyone with information is asked to call (856) 691-4111.
