2 Teens Shot in Newark, NJ; Police Search For Suspect
Authorities in Newark are asking for your help with identifying a suspect wanted for allegedly shooting two teenagers last week.
Just before 3:00 Thursday afternoon, January 11th, Newark police officers patrolling the 300 block of South Orange Avenue were stopped by a person who reported a shooting had taken place inside an area establishment.
2 Victims Found
At the scene, officers found a 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy who had been shot following an altercation involving the boy and two men who entered the establishment.
One of the suspects opened fire, shooting both victims, who each was transported to University Hospital for treatment.
Both victims were last reported to be in stable condition.
Suspect Wanted
Detectives investigating this incident are asking for your help with identifying the shooting suspect, who fled the scene, heading eastbound on South Orange Avenue.
