Authorities in Camden say three people, one of them only 12 years old, were reported missing within a 24-hour period; all three cases are unrelated.

Ability Mouwon of Camden, NJ, missing

The Camden County Police Department took to Facebook around lunchtime Friday to share that 32-year-old Ability Mouwon was missing.

Mouwon lives on the 600 block of Cherry Street in Camden's Bergen Square neighborhood.

He is described as a Black male, 5’ 7” tall, 150 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. He is known to frequent Broadway and Atlantic City.


Yaseem Matthews of Camden, NJ, missing

Around that same time, authorities also reported that 17-year-old Yaseem Matthews of Camden had vanished.

He was missing from his home on the 2900 block of Tuckahoe Road.

He is described as a Black male, 5’ 6”, 130 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. He is known to frequent Centerville, Fairview, Burlington, Cinnaminson, and Trenton.


Christopher Marrero of Camden, NJ, missing

Later Friday afternoon, authorities notified the public that 12-year-old Christopher Marrero had disappeared.

Marrero, from the 3100 block of Independence Road in Camden, is described as a Hispanic male, 5’ 5” tall, 80 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

He was last seen getting into a green sedan while wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts with red stripes on the sides, and Air Jordan sandals.

He is known to frequent Centerville, Fairview, and East Camden.
