Three teenagers have been arrested after they allegedly tried to steal two motorcycles from an apartment complex in Cherry Hill earlier this week.

The scene unfolded just after midnight Monday, May 13th, when the Cherry Hill Police Department received a report of the bikes being loaded into the back of a pickup truck at the Towers of Windsor Apartments.

Two officers quickly located the truck on Chapel Avenue; it made its way onto Cherry Hill Blvd. where three suspects jumped from the moving vehicle and fled on foot.

After a short chase, 18-year-old Raul Suarez of Camden was taken into custody.

Two other juvenile males were captured after an extensive search of the Cherry Hill Estates neighborhood.

Cherry Hill Police Chief Robert Kempf praised the quick response of his officers stating,

I am extremely proud of the work we do on a daily basis. Our Officers are aware of the stolen vehicle trends and are fully trained and outfitted to combat these types of crimes.
