60-year-old Woman Struck and Killed Crossing Route 30 in Hammonton, NJ
A Hammonton woman was struck and killed by a car on the White Horse Pike (Route 30) in Hammonton Saturday evening.
NJ.com is reporting that the accident happened shortly before 9 PM on Route 30 near Central Avenue.

The pedestrian was struck by a car driven by a 55-year-old Margate man.
Police say the woman died at the scene.
NJ.com says the name of the deceased has not been released. The driver's name has also not been released.
NJ.com is reporting that the man did stay at the scene and cooperated with police. "Investigators determined that the pedestrian was not in a crosswalk and was crossing the highway while drivers on Route 30 had a green light, authorities noted."
The accident remains under investigation.
