Absecon Resident Wins $2.5 Million at Golden Nugget

Someone in Absecon is over $2.5 million richer after a trip to an Atlantic City casino last week.

The Press of Atlantic City reports an anonymous 27-year-old female Absecon resident is $2.55 million richer after spending about ten minutes at a slot machine Friday at Golden Nugget. The unidentified person dropped about $30 into a progressive Wheel of Fortune slot machine and won the big $2,558,887 jackpot.

The odds of hitting it big on that slot machine are about 1 in 16.7 million.
