It absolutely sickens me to write about this crime against an animal, where an abused dog was dumped on the side of a rural road inside a closed trash can, causing her death.

Shore Animal Control is asking for help finding who is responsible and hopefully bringing them to justice.

The dog, a female, white and tan, roughly 35-40 pounds, about the size of a cattle dog or something similar. She suffered a broken front leg as well as other injures. The animal control officers have reason to believe that this poor dog was placed into the trash can while she was still alive. The dog later died.

The dog was found on the side of Cove Rd. in Beesleys Point, according to a Facebook post from Shore Animal Control.

If you can offer any information about this dog, please contact Shore Animal Control at 1-800-351-1822.
