Atlantic City, New Jersey Fire in Progress (Photos)

The Atlantic City, New Jersey professional firefighters are battling a fire at 28 South Georgia Avenue at this hour (late 7:00 a.m. hour).

The caliber of the Atlantic City Fire Department is exemplary.

Today’s fire is extensive and has resulted in a full recall situation for the Atlantic City Fire Department.

We have also learned that Ladder 1 has gone down during this fire and the Absecon Fire Department was called and is assisting and providing mutual aid in Atlantic City at this fire.

Ventnor’s City and Margate City  have also responded as needed.

A well placed Atlantic City source has just told us that there is a concern that the building could collapse.
