The Atlantic City, New Jersey Police Department has been doing a great job in arresting bad “guys” and taking guns off of the streets … including the capture of a wanted man.

This is just the latest example of delivering measurable results. It’s been a real focal point of Atlantic City Police Chief Jim Sarkos, (pictured below):

About their latest arrests, the Atlantic City Police Department has released the following information:

On April 4, 2025, at 2:04 PM, Detectives Eric Evans, Moustafa Maarouf, Troy Grams, and Jesse Oliver-Logan were conducting surveillance in the 500 block of Wabash Avenue searching for a wanted man, Isa Salaam. Salaam was wanted for his involvement in a robbery that occurred in February where he and other suspects assaulted and robbed a man at gunpoint, said the Atlantic City Police Department.

After the Atlantic City Police Department made a motor vehicle stop … they searched the car and recovered a loaded handgun and a small amount of ecstasy.

The Atlantic City Police Department made two arrests for a dizzying amount of criminal charges as follows:

ARRESTED:

Isa Salaam, 22 years old, from  Atlantic City, New Jersey.

CHARGES:

  • Robbery.
  • unlawful possession of a weapon (two counts).
  • possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
  • aggravated assault (two counts).
  • theft.
  • conspiracy.
  • possession of hollow-point ammunition.
  • possession of a defaced firearm.
  • certain person not to possess a weapon.
  • possession of CDS.

ARRESTED:

Jailene Williams, 27 years old, from Atlantic City, New Jersey.

CHARGES:

  • Unlawful possession of a weapon.
  • possession of hollow-point ammunition.
  • possession of a defaced firearm.
  • possession of CDS.
