Atlantic City Police Elevate 18 Class II Officers to Police Officer
The Atlantic City Police Department now has 18 new officers patrolling the streets of the World's Play Ground.
In a ceremony Friday morning, 18 Special Law Enforcement, Class II officers were elevated to Police Officer.
The newly hired officers were sworn in at a ceremony in City Hall. All 18 new officers will be assigned to the ACPD's Operations Division.
The elevation of these officers was made possible by a grant from the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA).
