
Atlantic City Police Investigating Shooting of 61-year-old Man
Atlantic City, N.J. — Officials in the World's Play Ground continue to investigate a non-fatal shooting in the city last week.
The Atlantic City Police Department said that at about 7:00 last Thursday evening, May 14th, its officers responded to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division for a walk-in gunshot victim.
The victim, who was only identified as being 61 years old, sustained a non-fatal injury.
Officials said the shooting occurred around Turnpike Road and Sunset Avenue.
Anyone with information about this shooting is urged to contact the Atlantic City Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit at (609) 347-5858. Anonymous tips are welcome.
