During the 2023-2024 school year, members of the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office proactively spoke to students and school officials in Atlantic County about the importance of good decision making and internet safety. The goal is to educate on how to best protect against criminal behavior and how to notify law enforcement when these crimes occur.

As the school year has ended, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office would like to remind our fellow citizens to be cognizant of the online activities of children. The summer allows for children to have more free time, which tends to increase unsupervised screen time. If there is any suspicion a child may be endangered or victimized through online contact, please contact your local police department, said the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
