Atlantic County, NJ, Judge Delays Decision in AC Mayor’s Case

New Jersey Superior Court Judge Bernard DeLury has delayed his awaited decision on whether or not to grant a (long odds) motion from Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small and his wife, La’Quetta Small.

The Small’s are trying to have subpoenas and evidence acquired by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office quashed and suppressed.

Judge DeLury was expected announce his decision today… Instead, he has moved the announcement of his critical decision to April 15, 2025.

Judge DeLury gave no reason for his delay.

DeLury is very familiar with exactly what Marty and Laqueta small are trying to do here… As Constance stays Chapman, the current suspended principal of Atlantic City high school, who previously attempted the same maneuver through her attorney Lee Vartan.

Vartan’s request was denied by DeLury .., here’s a copy of DeLury’s rejection Order regarding Days-Chapman.

DeLury is presently considering the same evidence and almost identical circumstances regarding Marty and La’Quetta Small.

Vartan has filed an appeal regarding DeLury’s decision regarding Days-Chapman.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office has uncovered devastating evidence against Days-Chapman and Marty and la’Quetta Small.

Their only legitimate chance of beating these disturbing child abuse criminal charges is to have the compelling evidence against them suppressed.

Combined, Marty and La’Quetta Small face a number of disturbing child abuse criminal charges regarding their minor daughter.

Marty Small has been separately indicted by a second Atlantic County Grand Jury on witness tampering charges … for allegedly trying to coerce his minor daughter into recanting her allegations against both of her parents.
