Atlantic County Road Work for the Week of January 6th

One of the good things about our mild, snow-free winter (so far) is road construction projects have been able to proceed without Mother Nature getting in the way.

The following is a list of road construction projects across Atlantic County this week.

• On Tuesday, January 7, Chew Road in Hammonton will be closed at 15th Street from 7:30AM to 5PM, weather permitting. Traffic will be allowed from 14th Street to the intersection with 15th Street; 15th Street will be open from 1st Road. North Egg Harbor Road will be the detour route to points east and west of 15th Street.
• On Tuesday, January 7, an alternating lane traffic pattern will be in effect on Leipzig Avenue in Hamilton Township between the Atlantic City Expressway and Drosera Avenue from 7:30AM to 5PM for county road work.
• On Wednesday, January 8th, through Friday the 10th, lane shifts are scheduled to be in effect on Jimmie Leeds Road in Galloway from the Garden State Parkway overpass to the entrance of Stockton University from 7AM to 3:30PM as that long-term construction project continues.
