Bayville Family Injured After Being Hit by a Car in Stafford

A Bayville family was injured in Stafford Township Sunday following a car accident where a Pennsylvania woman in the middle lane of Route 72 East tried merging into the left lane.

As a result of the collision around 2:00 pm near Stafford Square, both vehicles left the roadway and sustained significant damage.

Sandra Branham, 53, of Orwigsburg, PA, who was driving a Dodge Charger, was issued summonses for Improper Lane Change and Careless Driving.

Anthony Iiadis, 35, of Bayville, his wife and their 10-month old child were in a damaged Nissan Rouge.

The Stafford Township First Aid Squad administered medical treatment to all of the injured parties involved.

All of the injuries are considered minor and non-life threatening, and everyone was transported to the Southern Ocean Medical Center.

Police say that everyone was believed to be wearing their seatbelts at the time of this crash.
