The Best Restaurant in Every Jersey Shore Town

We all know that the Jersey Shore is packed with great restaurants, from upscale waterfront spots with talented chefs to amazing diners, pizza joints, and local dive bars.

So we decided to take on a pretty big challenge: Find the single-best restaurant in every single Jersey Shore town.

To put this list together, we looked at reviews from several major platforms, including Google, Yelp, and OpenTable, then weighed those ratings against the number of reviews each restaurant had received.

In other words, a perfect 5.0 based on a handful of reviews didn't automatically beat a 4.6 based on hundreds of reviews. We wanted to give more weight to restaurants with a larger sample size.

The result is a list that runs the entire length of the Jersey Shore, from the Sandy Hook area all the way down the Parkway into Cape May.

And there's plenty of variety along the way -- fine dining, seafood restaurants, coffee bars, boardwalk bistros, BBQ spots, and more.

Simply put, consider this your north-to-south guide to some of the best places to eat along the Jersey Shore.
