Fitzherbert Will Not Appear on the Republican Primary Election Ballot
Trenton Assignment Judge Carl Buck determined today in a Mercerville courtroom that Brian T. Fitzherbert will not appear on the June 2, 2018, Republican primary election ballot for the United States House of Representatives in District 2.
Fitzherbert has confirmed that he is going to appeal the decision. Judge Buck’s decision will be made official tomorrow.
Fitzherbert needed 200 valid voter signatures on his candidate’s petition. Judge Buck determined that Fitzherbert fell seven short.
To his credit, Robert Turkavage made the trip to Mercerville and did everything he could to help Fitzherbert. He even offered any duplicates that appeared on both of their petitions to be given to Fitzherbert.
