
Coast Guard Medevacs a Boy from a Cruise Ship off Atlantic City
The Coast Guard medevac'd a 4-year-old boy from a cruise ship about 100 miles southeast of Atlantic City Monday afternoon.
The Coast Guard was notified by a crew member aboard the Norwegian Breakaway after a child had fallen from his bunk and sustained a head injury. The cruise ship changed course and rendezvoused with a helicopter crew from Air Station Atlantic City. The crew hoisted the boy and his mother aboard and transferred them to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City. The boy was reported to be in stable condition.
