Connecticut: Fully Operational By May 19th, Will New Jersey Follow?
Very big news is in from the neighboring state of Connecticut.
Governor Ned Lamont is removing some COVID-19 health restrictions by Saturday, May 1, 2021.
In even bigger news ... Governor Lamont is removing all operational restrictions on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.
This is huge and will allow all businesses to ramp-up their efforts in time for Memorial Day Weekend, the unofficial start of the summer season.
Hopefully, this will mean that the state of New Jersey will not be far behind.
Citizens, along with business and industry have suffered for more than 13 months with onerous restrictions, rules and regulations.
The people have an understandable pent-up demand to recreate and want to return from “existing” to “living” once more.
If we all play this right, we’re going to be able to enjoy our generation’s equivalent of the “Roaring Twenties” ... which immediately followed the 1918 Pandemic.
By comparison, 1/3 of the world’s population was infected in 1918, with at least 50 million dying.
Our pandemic, no doubt, has been horrific ... However, by comparison ... the world (this time around) has lost a little more than 3 million people in the past 13 months; The United States has lost more than 600,000 souls.
I can’t wait to see what the creative marketing and entertainment geniuses like Tom Cantone will be doing.
Cantone is the Corporate President of Sports & Entertainment for Mohegan Sun Gaming.
Cantone has booked more entertainment acts over the past 40 years then any living human.
Cantone was also award-winning in real time during the current pandemic, where he successfully created a safe bubble that allowed for high level collegiate sports to take place in the Mohegan Sun Arena.
It was creative and dynamic and was Cantone at his best, collaborating with strategic marketing partners to make things happen while most were paralyzed in fear and lacking the skill sets to achieve greatness.
