Cops: Handyman Crashes Stolen Motor Vehicle in Lower Township
Cops in Lower Township say a man who was hired to renovate a property stole and then crashed a vehicle late Wednesday night in the Villas.
The scene unfolded around 11:15 Wednesday night when officers and paramedics were called out to Arizona Avenue for the report of a crash with entrapment. Responding crews were able to free 35-year-old Michael V. Reichenbach from an overturned vehicle.
An investigation revealed Reichenbach was traveling westbound on Arizona Avenue and struck a parked vehicle, which caused his vehicle to overturn. Cops also found out that Reichenbach had stolen the vehicle he was driving from a client who hired him to renovate a property.
Reichenbach was transported to Cape Regional Medical Center and then arrested on outstanding warrants, as well as being charged on a summons for theft of a motor vehicle. He was also issued multiple summonses regarding the accident.
