As malls across the Garden State prepare to reopen in a matter of days, kids under the age of 18 will have to be with an adult at Cumberland Mall in Vineland.

NJ.com reports Preit, the mall's owner, has released a temporary parental escort policy which states that due to limited shopping capacity related to COVID-19, anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is at least 21 years old. Those under the age of 18 must stay with that older person at all times.

Preit owns three malls across our region, the Cumberland Mall in Vineland, the Cherry Hill Mall, and the Moorestown Mall. The ban on unaccompanied kids is in place at all three shopping centers.

Cumberland Mall will reopen on Monday, June 29th, with limited shopping hours of 11AM to 7PM Monday through Saturday and noon to 6PM on Sundays, according to their Facebook page.
