IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENT

What we have been forecasting is now official.

David Richter has left the New Jersey 2nd Congressional District Republican Primary race and has endorsed Congressman Jeff Van Drew, R-2.

Richter has now set his sights on CD-3, the seat that is currently held by Democrat Andy Kim.

Kim narrowly won the seat in the 2018 mid-term elections in a squeaker.

Richter has a good chance to win the Republican Nomination, then making him a legitimate and formidable challenger to Kim.

Richter’s first move is a very smart one. He has hired one of the finest political strategists in America, Bill Stepien. Stepien is brilliant, respected and he has a phenomenal political/electoral pedigree and great instincts. He’s a winner.

Stepien is a current senior political strategist for United States President Donald Trump and a former high-level talent for former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

Christie was very influential in the Richter flip to the 3rd Congressional District. This move can mean another Republican pick-up this November 3, 2020.

This leaves only Bob Patterson left challenging Van Drew in the June 2, 2020 Republican Primary.

Developing.
