Detectives investigating fatal shooting in Camden, NJ
Detectives are investigating a shooting Wednesday evening that killed a man in Camden.
Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay says just before 8:00, officers with the Camden County Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter alert for gunfire in the area of the 800 block of Morgan Street.
At the scene, cops found 31-year-old Montel Lee of Camden, inside a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Lee was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities say their investigation is active and ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Michael Dons with the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office at (856) 365-3125.
