Don Pablo’s Restaurant in Deptford Suddenly Closes

The nation's only remaining Don Pablo's Mexican restaurant has abruptly closed it doors.

More than 40 workers at Don Pablo's in Deptford were given the bad news after the restaurant closed Sunday night.

Waitress Elizabeth Jarvis tells NJ.com that she and her co-workers heard rumors that a shut down may be coming, but was stunned to have received no advance notice. She also stated, "In March or April, corporate said Don Pablo’s was not going anywhere any time soon."

The Don Pablo's chain reportedly filed for bankruptcy in 2018.
