Serious Crash in Egg Harbor Township
An unidentified motorcyclist was seriously injured in an accident Tuesday afternoon in Egg Harbor Township.
The crash happened just after 1:00 on English Creek Ave at the intersection with Glenn Ave.
Collision Details
According to police, a Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling northbound on English Creek Ave. was struck by a Ford F250 that was pulling a landscaping trailer, also traveling northbound, as the pickup truck made a left-hand turn onto Glenn Ave.
Witnesses on scene reported seeing the motorcyclist attempting to pass several vehicles in the left southbound lane just before the crash, officials said.
The rider of the motorcycle, who sustained life-threatening injuries, was airlifted to an area hospital.
The driver and passengers of the pickup truck were not injured during the incident.
English Creek Ave. was shut down between Dogwood Ave. and Boxwood Ave. for approximately four hours while officers conducted their initial investigation.
Police Seek Witnesses
