In a Harry Hurley, WPG Talk Radio 95.5 exclusive, we have a direct eye witness (Mario Suarez) account regarding a highly disturbing, fiery automobile incident that took place on the Garden State Parkway near the Galloway Township rest stop exit.

I have confirmed that the result is that an elderly man has died at the scene.

Suarez is a retired Atlantic City Police Officer. He immediately stopped to see if he could come to the aid of this motorist.

According to Suarez, apparently, the motorist may have struck the rear of another car and Suarez came onto the scene as the car pulled over on to the side of the road, while on fire.

Suarez Came upon the scene at approximately 10:15 AM this morning.

The photo above was taken by Suarez. Suarez also took video at the scene.

Directly from Suarez:

Disclaimer, these details are graphic and disturbing.

“I pulled up, first to get to the car door, said Suarez. His hand was out the doorway on fire. As I got to the door, his mouth was open with flames coming out. He was gone, I have seen scenes like this before. There was too much smoke to see if anyone was in the back. The car started hissing and popping. I had to stop others because I know that sound. A short time later it started ... small explosions. Horrific, it’s the thing of nightmares,” said Suarez.

Suarez conveyed to me how much he wished he could have saved the man. He advised that had he arrived just two minutes earlier, that he could have saved the elderly gentleman.

The New Jersey State Police know the identity of the man, but, are not releasing it at this time.

Suarez has also provided me with a video that we are taking under advisement before deciding whether to release it.
