You may remember the story of six women who robbed a Chinese restaurant in Folsom / Collings Lakes last September. Following a massive investigation, five people have been arrested.

Last September, a group of six women were seen on surveillance video eating at the Krystal Vy Restaurant on the Black Horse Pike near Cains Mill Road in the Collings Lakes section of Folsom. The video showed the six women working together and using diversion tactics to steal a purse and other items. The original story claimed $18,000 was taken in the robbery; that amount was not mentioned in a new press release from the New Jersey State Police.

After an extensive investigation that involved the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department, Pennsylvania State Police, Illinois State Police, Chicago Police Department, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, U.S. Marshals Service, and Skokie, IL, Police Department, New Jersey state troopers arrested Michael Denikov, Melianna Denikov, Linda Martinov, Biserka Petrov, and Ljuba Petrov. All five are from Illinois and are all charged with theft and conspiracy to commit theft and have been lodged at the Atlantic County Jail.

Troopers are investigating other incidents or crimes that may be linked to these individuals. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at (609) 561-1800.
