A Florida man has been sentenced on child porn-related charges involving a teenager from the Garden State.

Andrew Drechsel of Saint Cloud, FL, Sentenced

Earlier this month, 35-year-old Andrew Drechsel of Saint Cloud, FL, pleaded guilty to one count of receiving child pornography and one count of knowingly persuading, inducing, enticing and coercing a minor to travel interstate to engage in sexual activity for which the defendant can be charged with a crime.

Om Wednesday, he was sentenced to 121 months, or about ten years, in prison.

According to court documents, from 2014 through fall 2019, Drechsel lived in Connecticut while his victim lived in New Jersey.

On Nov. 8, 2019, law enforcement agents searched one of Drechsel’s phones and found images of child sexual abuse, including images of the victim when the victim was 14 years old.

Drechsel admitted that he originally met the victim through his activities in the parkour community as an “American Ninja Warrior.”

Drechsel also admitted the victim traveled across state lines in July 2015 and he had sexual relations with the victim.

In addition to the prison term, Drechsel was sentenced to 15 years of supervised release and ordered to pay $100,000 in restitution to the victim.
