A former Cape-Atlantic League star has made the Chicago Bears 53-man roster.

Former Absegami Braves standout Abdullah Anderson has made the Bears roster as a defensive tackle.  The former Bucknell University star went undrafted last year after an impressive college career.

In 43 games played, he had 171 tackles (96 solo), 33.5 tackles for a loss, 15.5 sacks, 14 defended passes, four blocked kicks (three field goals, one PAT), two fumble recoveries, one interception for the Bison.

This preseason, Anderson had nine tackles and one sack, impressing the Bears enough to land a spot on the 53-man roster.
