Former Atlantic City Mayor Prison Sentence Rescheduled 5th Time
“Hurley in the Morning” has learned and confirmed that following a 5th rescheduling, former Atlantic City Mayor Frank Gilliam Jr. will now be formally sentenced on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in United States District Court in Camden, New Jersey.
Some of the earlier delays were because of COVID-19.
Gilliam plead guilty on October 3, 2019 to federal wire fraud charges. He presently stands convicted, but, not sentenced.
Gilliam accepted responsibility to defrauding a local youth basketball program for more than $ 87,000.
Gilliam resigned as Mayor of Atlantic City on the same day (October 3, 2019 that he plead guilty.
