The Kansas City Chiefs will turn to a local face to try and help jump-start their offense on Sunday, elevating Vineland high alium Isiah Pacheco to the first-team for this weeks game in San Francisco against the 49ers.

Pacheco got first-team reps at practice this week and will now take over the role that was held by Clyde Edwards-Helaire per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

It's been an interesting week for the former Vineland and Rutgers football star. He had his jersey given to actor Paul Rudd on "The Season" podcast with Peter Schrager of the NFL Network.

So far this season, the former high school quarterback has rushed 31 times for 149 yards and a touchdown for the 4-2.

WHile Pacheco didn have eye-popping numbers at Rutgers, ending his three years career with 562 carries for 2,452 yards, 4.4 yards per attempt and 18 touchdowns. He jumped onto the NFL scene with a tremendous outing at the NFL combine, running the fastest time of any running back at the event.

While at Vineland, Pacheco played quarterback and running back for the Fighting Clan's offense, and was a defensive back for the defense. His senior season he rushed 154 times for 1,414 yards and 18 touchdowns and threw for 598 yards and three touchdowns.

Now he is the starting running back for one of the top teams in the NFL.
