Four men from Whitesboro, Middle Township, are facing robbery charges in the Wildwoods.

The North Wildwood Police Department says in the early morning hours of last Monday, June 28th, two people were walking in the area of 25th and Surf Avenues when four men got out of a vehicle, they pushed the two that were walking to the ground, and robbed them.

Following the robbery, the suspects drove south into Wildwood where they were stopped by police, but the victims could not positively identify them.

In a press release, police said,

Further investigation by North Wildwood Police Detectives, including video surveillance, revealed the four males were the same four males from the traffic stop in Wildwood. On July 2, 2021, all four were arrested at North Wildwood Police Headquarters where they were processed and placed on summonses in accordance with State of New Jersey Criminal Justice Reform guidelines.

18-year-old Dashaw Hakins, 20-year-old Dawan Hawkins, 19-year-old Omarian Mcneal, and 19-year-old Donald Hatcher, all of Whitesboro, were all charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree conspiracy to commit robbery.

Mugshots of the suspects were not provided by authorities.

The public is reminded that those accused of crimes are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
