A twisty, turny, new vertical roller coaster is set to begin construction in Atlantic City.

Dubbed 'Polercoaster', the thrill ride will stand on the site of the former Sands Casino off the boardwalk at Martin Luther King Boulevard. Ground is scheduled to be broken in June, but the coaster won't officially open to riders until approximately May 2019, according to Courier Post.

PolerCoaster is the brain child of US Thrill Rides, who introduced plans for the coaster back in 2012, Economic Development Authority reports . There are already several operating in the United States, including Orlando, Florida (as you can see in the video below).

PolerCoaster is not for the faint of heart, spiraling riders up and down a 350 feet tower! The ride park is reportedly just one part of a larger plan to include a 110,000-square-foot entertainment complex boasting a skydive simulator and “extreme” climbing, ropes and other attractions.
