A man from Hammonton was killed in a single-car crash Saturday afternoon in Williamstown.

NJ.com reports 76-year-old Henry J. Berenato was driving westbound on Corkery Lane near Sykesville Road in Williamstown, Monroe Township, around 3:30 Saturday afternoon when, according to police, his car crossed the centerline, continued off the road, and traveled about 200 feet before hitting a fence at a school bus yard.

Monroe Township Police say Berenato was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
