Holy Spirit High School In Absecon, New Jersey has confirmed that the current school principal, Dr. Tom Farren will be leaving at the end of the current 2023-2024 school year.
The news was confirmed on Tuesday, May 8, 2024 by Mrs. Mara Marczyk Chair, Board of Trustees and Dr. William A. Watson, Superintendent of Schools.
The Dr. Tom Farren era at Holy Spirit High School was successful by any standard of measure … whereby he led with honor and integrity.
Holy Spirit is a great school, that for generations has offered by a great overall education and challenging curriculum… coupled with a supreme focus on sports, extra and co-curricular activities.
To Holy Spirit’s credit, several years ago when many catholic schools were being closed or consolidated … Holy Spirit High School has been able to endure.
Full disclosure, our two Daughters, Kristin (2001) and Lauren (2004) are prideful graduates of Holy Spirit High School.
Kristin and Lauren both enjoyed and fondly remember their high school days because of the school spirit, academics and the overall winning culture at Holy Spirit High School.

The “Hurley in the Morning” Charity will be awarding a Grant to Holy Spirit High School, live from the scene of the Annual Thanksgiving Day Football game between Holy Spirit High School vs. Atlantic City Hugh School.
The 2024 annual rivalry game will be held this upcoming Thanksgiving Day morning at Holy Spirit High School at Ed Byrnes Stadium.
