
House Explodes in Washington Township, NJ; Report Says 2 Bodies Recovered
UPDATE: A criminal investigation into this fire is now underway, per WTXF-TV.
UPDATE: WCAU-TV reports the bodies of two people, a man and a woman, were removed from the home.
NBC 10 is also reporting that the fire is being investigated as an "intense fire," not an "explosion," per police.

A house apparently exploded overnight in Gloucester County.
House Explosion in South Jersey
The Washington Township Police Department says they received multiple 9-1-1 calls just after 2 AM Sunday that reported a loud explosion and fire in the area of Tranquility Court and Orion Way.
Responding officers arrived at 13 Tranquility Court and saw that home was fully engulfed in flames and appeared to have been heavily damaged by an apparent explosion.
The Washington Twp. Fire Department arrived and extinguished the blaze.
"Full of flames"
An unidentified neighbor told WTXF-TV,
I just heard an explosion, looked out the bedroom window and the house next door was full of flames.
"A huge explosion"
Another neighbor spoke to KYW-TV,
It just jolted you. I've never experienced that before. It was a huge explosion. It was very scary.
Explosion Caught on Camera
Two nearby homes were also reportedly damaged in the incident.
Investigation Continues
A social media post by police early Sunday morning said their investigation remains active and ongoing.
