Easton Beisler Will Be Missed
"To say Easton will be missed is an understatement," a coach told the crowd, according to 6ABC.
"In football he was exceptional. He was the type of kid others gravitated toward and wanted to be like," another coach said.
Tribute after tribute followed for the young player who will always be remembered as number 23.
"He was the best kid. He always talked to me. He always asked me how I was doing. He cleaned up after himself," said coach Wes Yakopcic.
A Candlelight Vigil Scheduled For Addiel Ortiz
A vigil for Addiel Ortiz, the man who also died in the fatal two-vehicle crash, is planned for 7 pm Monday. Ortiz was a coach for the Vineland Blitz football team.
The vigil will be held at the Romano Sports Complex in Vineland, where the crash happened.
Police said the 31-year-old Ortiz's motorcycle collided with a Chevrolet Traverse driven by Easton Beisler's mother.
A fellow coach, Jerome Clements remembered Easton and Addiel.
It's a tragedy, it is. The young man didn't even get a chance to live his life and coach Addie didn't get a chance to live his. He's only 31, four children.
A GoFundMe for Easton's family has raised over $117,000.
