Atlantic County, New Jersey government has confirmed news of important traffic advisories for Ventnor City and Galloway Township that will begin on Monday, July 8, 20/4.

TILTON ROAD - GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP

Monday, July 8, 2024 through Friday, July 12, 2024, Tilton Road  will be closed between Route 30 and Wrangleboro Road … between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

To perform milling and paving work, it can only take place weather permitting.

About this project, Atlantic County government said:

Southbound traffic will be detoured via Route 30 eastbound to Pomona Road southbound. Northbound local traffic will be permitted to enter the work zone at Wrangleboro Road, but all other traffic will be detoured via Pomona Road northbound to Route 30 westbound. All intersecting streets will be closed at Tilton Road. Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route, said Atlantic County government.

DORSET AVENUE BRIDGE - VENTNOR CITY

This work is scheduled to begin on or about Wednesday, July 10, 2024.

Atlantic County government has confirmed that:

A lane shift (pattern) with shoulder closings will be in effect on the Dorset Avenue Bridge in Ventnor, 7 am - 5 pm, for mechanical adjustments with minimal impact to motorists. North sidewalk closures will also be necessary as well as intermittent bridge openings not to exceed 10 minutes at a time. Motorists may experience delays and should plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route, said Atlantic County government.

 

The County of Atlantic has confirmed that the Ventnor City project is expected to be completed in one day.
