Acting on a complaint, cops in Atlantic City say four people were arrested on drug charges and a gun and drugs were seized Monday evening.

According to the Atlantic City Police Department, at about 5:45 Monday evening, detectives attempted to stop a vehicle in the beach block of North Carolina Avenue as part of an investigation.

Police say,

The vehicle driven by Jordan Ragland fled from the detectives. The vehicle was located at North Carolina and Baltic Avenues and the occupants were fleeing the area. Ragland and David Miller, the target of the investigation, were apprehended.

Detectives along with members of the department’s SWAT Team then executed a search warrant on a motel room at the Rodeway Inn. Donald Lewis and Jessica Dudley were arrested in the room. Detectives recovered a stolen handgun, cocaine, a bullet proof vest, and paraphernalia used to package and sell narcotics.

43-year-old David Miller of Pleasantville was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of CDS, possession with intent to distribute CDS, possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense, certain person not to possess a weapon, receiving stolen property, obstruction of justice, resisting arrest, and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.

35-year-old Donald Lewis of Atlantic City was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of CDS, possession with intent to distribute CDS, possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense, certain person not to possess a weapon, receiving stolen property, and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.

34-year-old Jessica Dudley of Atlantic City was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of CDS, possession with intent to distribute CDS, possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense, certain person not to possess a weapon, receiving stolen property, and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.

Those three were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.

28-year-old Jordan Ragland of Atlantic City was charged with eluding, resisting arrest, and obstruction of justice. He was released on a summons with a future court date.
