The school identified the victim as Jude Gill, 15, of Mount Laurel, according to a letter obtained by NBC Philadelphia. Mount Laurel basketball also identified Gill as a player between kindergarten and 8th grade.
"Over those years, he wasn’t just a player—he was a teammate, a friend, and a constant presence in our gyms. Coaches, teammates, and families will remember his energy, his love for the game, and the way he showed up for those around him," the team said on its Facebook page.
