
New Fast-Casual Salad and Bowl Spot Opens in Downtown Ocean City
We love it when something new opens up! Look out, Ocean City, there is a new fast-casual destination downtown.
They opened this week with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Everyone is looking to eat a little healthier these days, and with that in mind, there is a brand new business in Ocean City that is now open for everyone in the area to check out!
Custom Salads, Grain Bowls, and Wraps
Chop Wave, owned and operated by head chef Ryan Tyers, is located at 1000 Asbury Avenue and adds a build-your-own style of eatery to downtown Ocean City. Patrons can choose to build their own salad, bowl, or wrap, adding protein, toppings, cheese, and dressing.
Build-Your-Own Ice Cream Sandwiches
They also offer fully customizable ice cream sandwiches that you can build yourself with multiple options.

Location, Hours, and What Was There Before
Chop Wave takes over the building that was previously occupied by Burger Boyzz and Fruit Freezz, which is now located at 906 Boardwalk. Ocean First Bank is right across the street on the corner of 10th and Asbury.
The new spot will be open year-round in Ocean City and is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
