Man arrested after lewd acts near Ulta Beauty, Stafford Twp., NJ, police say
A man from southern Ocean County has been arrested after allegedly committing lewd acts in a shopping center parking lot last week.
The Stafford Township Police Department says the incident happened around 4:00 on the afternoon of February 23rd in front of the Ulta Beauty store in the Stafford Park shopping center on Route 72 in Manahawkin, near Target.
Officers responded to the area and anonymous victims reported that a man "had been engaged in lewd and inappropriate acts, in plain view of the public."
Those talking to police were able to provide descriptions of both the suspect and his vehicle, which had left the area before authorities arrived.
Following an investigation, detectives arrested 24-year-old Austin Mousley of West Creek.
Mousley was charged with lewdness and later released pending a future court appearance in Stafford Township.
