A North Cape May man is facing a list of charges after police say he is responsible for as many as 50 graffiti incidents in the town, as well as for being in possession of drugs.

Lower Township Police say they started receiving complaints of graffiti about two weeks ago. Many businesses were targeted, along with traffic signs and utility company property. To date, township officials investigated around 50 incidents of graffiti, totaling several thousand dollars worth of damage, according to cops.

On Friday, 44-year-old Thomas Hale of North Cape May was arrested. Hale was charged with Criminal Mischief for the graffiti, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe, and Possession of 10 or More Marijuana Plants.
