
Man Arrested, Gun Recovered by A.C. Cops Responding to ShotSpotter Alert
Officers responding to a ShotSpotter alert arrested a man and recovered a handgun in Atlantic City Saturday night.
According to a press release, Atlantic City police officers responded to the 2600 block of Arctic Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert indicating gunfire in the area just before 9:00 Saturday night. Following a short chase, cops arrested 19-year-old Malik Lyons of Atlantic City.
Lyons was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, obstruction of justice, and certain person not to possess a weapon. He was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
