A man who allegedly stole a dog from Funny Farm Rescue in Mays Landing has apparently been charged with murdering a man in North Carolina.

In early October, the story broke out of Mays Landing where a young man - Brandon - allegedly homeless, had given his dog to Funny Farm Rescue, because he could now longer care for it. In return for the dog, a volunteer gave Brandon $1,000 to get his life back on track.

Soon thereafter, Brandon apparently returned to Funny Farm and took his dog back.

Now comes word from North Carolina that the man, Brandon M. Bussey, has been charged, along with another man, Jesse J. Sanchez, with stabbing and killing a man in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
